  • Description

Cedarlane’s anti-mouse NK cells monoclonal antibody is specific for mouse NK cells in selected strains of mice (i.e.C57BL, FVB/N, NZB but not A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/J, C3H, C57BR, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, SJL and 129). Clone PK136 is specific for mouse NK1.1, also known as NKR-PIC and Ly 55.  Mouse NK1.1 is expressed on NK cells and NKT cells on the following strains: C57BL, FVB/N and NZB.  There are published reports that PK136 mAb binds to NKR-PIB on SJL/K NK cells4.

This antibody is suitable for use in flow cytometry and with paraffin-embedded sections.

    Immunohistochemical Analysis

Biotin Anti-Mouse NK Cells (NK1.1) (CL8994B) staining of paraformaldehyde-fixed paraffin-embedded mouse spleen sections at 2.5x (Left) and 40x (Right) magnification. (Biotin Anti-mouse NK Cells (NK1.1) (CL8994B) was used at a dilution of 1:100 and stained with DAB for 1 minute)
