EMC was founded in July 1996 as a private company, in January 2000 EMC GmbH was established. Currently, EMC employs about 30 people, 15 hold doctoral degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biology. EMC operates out of 1400 m2 laboratory and office space equipped with modern facilities.
